Drew Mason

Drew Mason is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Jade Capital Management LLC. Prior to Jade Capital, Mr. Mason founded the Technology Sector Group in Asia Pacific for UBS Warburg, formerly Dillon, Read & Co., where he worked from 1994 to 2012 in New York, London and Hong Kong. In addition, Mr. Mason was instrumental in the founding of Sohu.com, one of the first Chinese companies to list on NASDAQ. Prior to UBS Warburg, Mr. Mason served as an intelligence officer during Operation Desert Storm for the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), is a lifetime foundation member of the U.S. Naval War College, and currently serves on the advisory board of the U.S. Navy League, New York, a position he has held since 2014. Mr. Mason speaks regularly on investing in China, including at the Harvard Business School and Brown University, where he has been a member of the President of Brown University’s China Council since 2010. Mr. Mason received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his bachelor’s degree from Brown University where he graduated with an Honors degree in Modern History (magna cum laude). Mr. Mason has worked in New York, London and Hong Kong and currently resides in Larchmont, New York.

Gary Wang

Gary Wang is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Jade Capital Management LLC. Mr. Wang is also one of the founding members of Quanta Capital, a Bermuda based insurance and reinsurance company listed on NASDAQ in 2004, and China Rapid Finance, China’s leading consumer finance solutions provider listed on NYSE in 2017. Mr. Wang was formerly the head of Asia Credit Derivatives of Barclays Capital and was ranked by Institutional Investor as one of the top three global credit derivatives houses after two years of operations. Mr. Wang started his career as a quantitative analyst at Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco and subsequently an options trader of Barclays Capital in New York. He has a BS in Physics from Peking University and a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of California, San Diego. Mr. Wang grew up in Shanghai and currently resides in New York.
